Terms and Conditions of Booking
- We operate a strict no-smoking policy in our building - a minimum £50 per room cleaning charge will be applied to any room where smoking has taken place. By making a reservation you agree to not smoke on the premises of the property at any time
- Failure to provide a valid contact telephone number may result in the reservation being cancelled
- All cheques must be made payable to Chester Deva Ltd and will need to be cleared before arrival
- Modifications to bookings after arrival are subject to cancellation charges as stipulated below
- If you wish to arrive between 1pm and 5pm, please phone us a minimum of 24 hours before arrival otherwise we cannot guarantee that we will be on site
- If arrival is later than 4pm we reserve the right to debit the payment card with the full cost of that night's stay and, unless agreed in advance, the rooom will revert to being available for others to book
- Checkout time is 10:30am except by prior arrangement
- Failure to check out at the agreed time will attract a charge equal to £10 per part or full hour overstayed upto a maximum of 2 hours after which full rate will apply at the published rates.
- No pets allowed
- All rates include a Full English Breakfast. Under 5's excluded
- Breakfast is served between 7:30am and 09:00am or other times by prior arrangements
- Any damage caused to furniture, fixture and fittings will have to be paid for in full by the guest. Lost keys are charged to the guest
- Only 1 free under 5 for each full paying adult. Child rate charged for each additional under 5
- Where a single person occupies a room with beds for 2 or more people, we will provide either a single bed or a double bed at our discretion. An Under Occupancy Charge may also be levied.
- Where a room is booked for fewer people than the room can fully accommodate, we, the managment, reserve the right to apply an Under Occupancy Charge which will be indicated in your reservation at the time you make your booking. This charge will vary depending on weekend seasonal and race day demand, throughout the year for accommodation.
- Any accidents resulting in injury must be reported immediately to the owner/agent and a record must be recorded in the accident book onsite
- Any damage caused by a guest, or theft of property from the premises will be charged back to that guest
- The provision by yourselves of your credit card details is to secure the return of the ensuite bedroom undamaged, no smoke damage and with no missing items together with the safe return of front door and bedroom door keys. Damage to the rooms or communal areas will incur charges which will be put against your credit card or the company will prosecute for any such damage, loss or theft if deemed appropriate. Loss of keys is charged at £20 per key plus £5 per room FOB
- All outstanding charges are payable in full upon arrival - we do not accept full payment from any card over the telephone and do require to have visibility of the credit card used for paying the deposit on your day of arrival
- Limited Companies can book and pay in full in advance by company credit card providing they can provide a company letterheaded email showing the company registration number, company address and valid telephone number that we can use to confirm company status by returning a call to validate the company
- Visitors are fully responsible for any lost or stolen items caused by negligence
- Breakfast is prepared to the time you indicate on your registration form completed on arrival. This time has to be honored or the breakfast will be forfeited. We can provide sandwiches as an alternative given prior arrangement.
- Late arrivals accepted up to 10pm by prior arrangement only
- Please note that CCTV surveillance equipment is in use on these premises in communal areas providing extra security for you and your car
- More than 1 week before arrival - a £25 booking fee per room is payable
- Between 1 week and 72 hours before arrival: 50% of the total cost is payable
- Less than 72 hours before arrival: 100% of the total cost is payable
- In the event of you modifying your reservation where it initially includes a 2 night weekend or longer, or it includes Chester Races where we have stipulated a minimum 2 night stay on the booking system we will apply a 50% surcharge to the remainder of your booking
